Our fifth Cath Lab equipment updated in 2006 consists of the Siemens Axiom Artis dFC flat panel with clear FD technology, the first such installation in Asia in June 2006.

Cardiac Catherterisation
Cardiac Catherterisation for Congenital & Valvular Heart Disease - Diseases affecting newborn babies and children can be diagnosed by this procedure. Patients with narrow or leaking valves can be similarly assessed.
 
 


Coronary Angiography
 Coronary Angiography - is the "Gold Standard" for the evaluation of coronary artery disease.

Peripheral / Digital Subtraction Angiography
 Peripheral / Digital Subtraction Angiography - This procedure evaluates narrowing in the arteries anywhere in the body.

P.T.C.A. (ANGIOPLASTY) / STENTS
This procedure is done to relieve blockages of the coronary arteries and in many cases avoids surgery. Stents are being used as an adjunct to angioplasty. Drug coated Stents are being implemented to reduce the incidence of restenosis.
