Dr. Ashish Khanijo is an experienced CVT ( cardiovascular and thoracic ) surgeon with more than 28 years of  experience.

Dr. Khanijo operates mostly on adult cardiac surgical patients and performs coronary bypass surgery, heart valve surgery, excision of masses in the heart and chest. He also treats vascular problems (like blockages in the peripheral arteries and veins), lung diseases and diseases of the aorta and Vena Cava. 

Alongside conventional cardiac surgery, Dr. Khanijo performs heart transplantation, minimally invasive open heart surgeries and initiation of ECMO (extra corporeal membrane oxygenation). He is well known for his  expertise in  pacemaker implantations  and endovascular procedures. 

He is a life member of the Indian association of cardiothoracic surgeons and has been regularly attending national and international conferences and updates.
